I am a person who expects attention, competence, and a sense of urgency about my concerns, and I got that abundantly from Lorie, as well as an abundance of good humor, clear explanations of technicalities, and an overwhelmingly helpful and supportive attitude. Lorie advised me on my options and presented me with a full menu of possible approaches, with perfectly reasonable fees. She prepared a full collection of necessary documents for me, including a new will, advance directive, power of attorney, and others. Since I am not myself an attorney, I had plenty of detailed questions, and she went over everything with me point by point, clarifying everything and perfectly addressing any concerns. I am more than satisfied with the service I received and have the utmost confidence in Lorie and her firm. That includes her friendly, helpful staff, who also communicated with me throughout the process, as needed.
I first visited Lorie's office in February, but of course everything had to be altered with the onset of the pandemic. When I returned over a month later, Lorie and her staff were taking all precautions for everyone's health. She and her staff were masked, and visitors were required to be masked as well, and to use hand sanitizer. Her appointments were scheduled so as to have as few people as possible in the office at any given time. On top of everything else, Lorie sends announcements to her clients from time to time offering video or Zoom workshops on topics of interest, and these have been very helpful.
Whether your estate planning needs are rather simple and modest or large and complex, Lorie Burch is a seasoned attorney who is fully versed in the requirements of Texas law and able to guide a client through the entire process of drawing up all documents needed to protect your interests and those of your family. If you are a woman, you will find Lorie very alert and sympathetic to the estate planning needs of female clients, and if you are a senior, as I am, you will not end up feeling patronized by someone considerably younger than you, nor will you need to question if she knows what she's doing. Again, I highly recommend Burch Law for everyone.read more
